Trying to present a little of the country’s wine diversity, we offer you a selection of wines from farms, from small producers or cooperative wineries from different regions.

There are 8 demarcated regions, and 47 wine-producing sub-regions, based on soil-climate characteristics, traditional varieties and winemaking methods. Therefore, Portuguese wines have an enormous diversity that encourages discovery.

Green wines

Vinho Verde is unique in the world. Naturally light and fresh, produced in the northwest of Portugal, a coastal region with a short summer, which does not allow the grapes to fully ripen, making this wine of moderate alcohol content. Vinho Verde is a fruity wine, easy to drink, great as an aperitif or paired with light and balanced meals: salads, fish, seafood, white meat.

Rosé wines

The rich and fruity Portuguese rosé wines made good friends all over the world. Its production began in Portugal, in Vila Real, with Mateus Rosé, in the north of the demarcated region of Port Wine, having become world famous and making Portugal the great reference for this type of wine.
